Globaltech, Inc. is seeking a motivated full time CAD Designer to join our team. The CAD Designer will join a multidiscipline group of dedicated design-build professionals to round out our engineering service capabilities in the municipal water and wastewater facilities market.
Job duties
- CAD software to create, edit, and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings for projects
- Incorporate engineers redlines. Prepare mechanical, civil, and electrical sketches, plans, sections, and details
- Ensure drawings are in compliance with company and client’s standards
- Responsible for maintaining file directories and archiving CAD drawings
- Upload drawings to Procore (Project Management Software)
- Collaborate with project team(s) and follow through with completing the assignment(s) on schedule
Requirements
- Good communication skills
- CAD design certificate or Associates degree (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in process mechanical design or piping design Water/Wastewater utilities design preferred
- Ability to read and interpret surveys and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with Florida engineering standards for the design of water treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, and water distribution systems
- Knowledge of sanitary collection systems and drainage systems a plus
- Strong knowledge of xrefs/attachments, drawing blocks and cell libraries
- Ability to work in AutoCAD with minimum technical support
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-hire drug test
- Possess a valid Florida Driver License and able to pass a motor vehicle record search
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
