During the first week of May, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) celebrates Drinking Water Week. This annual event is a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to recognize the vital role water plays in our life. This year’s theme is “there when you need it,” which focuses on the reliability of drinking water and the hardworking professionals who can be counted on to maintain the infrastructure.
As proud members and sponsors of FSAWWA we are pleased to highlight and support this week long observance. Pranoti Kikale, E.I., currently serves as FSAWWA’s Region VI Web Manager. We spoke with her about our firm’s dedication to the communities in which we work and the importance of having access to clean, safe drinking water.
